ApplicationIQ · Last updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how ApplicationIQ ("we", "our", or "the app") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application. By using ApplicationIQ, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the app's features.
Apple Sign In
When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address. This information is used solely to identify your account, provide support, and improve your experience. We do not sell or share this information with third parties. Note that Apple only provides your name and email on your very first sign in — we store this locally on your device.
Google Account & Gmail Access
When you choose to connect your Gmail account, we request read-only access to your Gmail inbox via Google Sign-In. We use this access solely to detect job application-related emails (such as application confirmations, interview invitations, and rejections). We do not read, store, or share any other emails. Your Gmail email address is stored locally on your device to display your connected account.
Email Content (Processed, Not Stored)
To classify job-related emails, the content of relevant emails is temporarily sent to our AI classification service (powered by Anthropic's Claude API via a secure proxy). Email content is used only for classification and is not stored on any server after processing.
Subscription & Purchase Information
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may collect anonymous purchase and subscription data. Actual payment processing is handled entirely by Apple — we never see or store your payment details.
App Data
All job application data you create or import (company names, roles, statuses, notes) is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not have access to this data.
We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, or any third-party analytics or advertising tools.
We use the information collected solely to:
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
ApplicationIQ uses the following third-party services:
All of your job application data is stored locally on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal data. Email content passed to our classification service is transmitted over HTTPS and is not retained after processing. Your Apple Sign In identifier and any voluntarily shared name or email are stored locally on your device only.
Deleting the ApplicationIQ app from your device will permanently remove all locally stored data.
If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below. Since all app data is stored locally on your device, deleting the app is the most effective way to erase your data immediately. To remove your Apple Sign In connection, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Password & Security → Apps Using Apple ID → ApplicationIQ → Stop Using Apple ID.
ApplicationIQ is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
